The Neue Jadewerft shipyard has served the German Navy as a reliable partner for over 65 years, repairing, servicing, converting and maintaining its fleet of vessels. In the early years, this primarily comprised the maintenance of auxiliary ships such as small supply vessels and also harbour and ocean-going tugboats. But thanks to our impressive work performance, this was extended to include maintenance work on the German Navy’s fast attack craft, minesweepers and fleet service vessels.
We also excelled in maintenance of the F122 class frigates, which are otherwise known as the Bremen class. In addition to maintaining the Bremen class vessels, we won bids to maintain and modernise the F123 (Brandenburg class) and F124 (Sachsen class) frigates, and have since completed this work. We have now successfully maintained more than 40 military surface vessels, including the now decommissioned Lütjens class of guided missile destroyers, making us an integral part of the German Navy’s depot ship maintenance.
In addition to this maintenance work, we have become a reliable and flexible point of contact for the German Navy with regard to extensive conversions and modernisations. In partnership with Fr. Lürssen Werft in Bremen, we most recently handled the warranty processing for the K130 corvette class.
